Gloss just is not my thing. I prefer matte lipsticks because of their long-lasting effect. I tried this and it did not last very long. I might use it for a glossy effect on top of matte lips because of it’s dark, neutral tone but this is a pass for me. – Rhonda M, 36

As for the lip lacquer itself, I’m still confused on weather it’s a liquid lipstick or lip gloss because it goes on like lipstick with a strong colour but is super glossy. I’m kind of disappointed in this “ lip lacquer.” It says on the website that it’s matte but moisturizing… but it’s not matte at all. They should describe it as a super intense gloss, because that is what it is. I was excited to get a matte lipstick but that’s not what this is. I’m disappointed – it’s whatever. – Anne F, 32
