The Winter Babe Box featured a FULL SIZED bottle of the Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter hairspray and our subscriber babes were ecstatic! Here are some thoughts on this waterless, Sulfate, Paraben and DEA free hairspray.
I really enjoy this hairspray. I like the smell a lot compared to other hairsprays and it has a great everyday hold. It is also cruelty free which is important to me. It may not be strong enough to hold a major hairstyle or for something like a prom but it is great for day to day. - Alyssa M, 28
I usually buy the argan oil hairspray, which I really like but is kind of sticky if I use too much. So I tried this one, and I like the feel of it much better. It has a nice soft hold without being sticky, it's easy to brush through and doesn't dry out my hair. However, the fragrance is quite strong and it lingers. It has a sweet coconutty fragrance that smells good but I could smell it all day, and even had a couple of people comment (in a good way, but still). I'm used to it now and it doesn't bother me as much as it did at first. Not sure if I'll purchase this after sampling it, or go back to the argan oil version. – Julie S, 32
I admit.... I have "big hair", and love it curly/wavy & wild. Can get very frizzy throughout the day and lose its style quickly. This spray is waterless, so it will NOT weigh down your style or give you that crunchy, stiff feeling. I have half empty cans of other sprays galore under my bathroom sink, because they just did not do the job for me. I wouldn't buy anything else now that I tried the coconut oil hairspray!! You can use it the second day (I only wash very other day), and you won’t have build-up. The ONLY con is not really a "con" against the product, it’s that I wish they sold small purse/travel size cans as well. – Samantha L, 21
This is the best Hairspray Ever! I have baby fine hair and this doesn't make my hair look greasy like other hairsprays. It also doesn't build up on my scalp like other sprays, it smells amazing and it's not crazy expensive. – Laurel T, 42
After receiving this Hairspray in the Winter Babe Box, I went out and bought the entire Coconut oil and Shea Butter hair care line. Not only does it smell amazing, it IS AMAZING! My hair is very dry and brittle and this line just helps tremendously. I love the hair spray. It it a medium hold and non-sticky so my hair still freely moves. I like this because I hate when my hair is hard and feels disgusting because of the product in my hair. I highly recommend this product and the others in this line. - Tracey N, 24
This hairspray works well without being too crunchy or shiny. It smells lovely and reminds me of summer :) It's not the best hairspray I've used, but it's one I would consider keeping in my roster of products for the warmer months. It's a bit pricey but if you catch it on sale (or for free in a sub box) it's worth it. – Julie A, 31
Awesome hairspray! One of my favorites. I have naturally straight hair and this held my curls till the next day. I also love the coconut scent. It's a little pricier than other generic brands but after testing it, it’s worth the price. – Gemma Z, 19
This stuff smells absolutely AMAZING! I feel like I don't even need to wear perfume half the time! Holds curls super well and keeps straight hair from frizzing. I love that this product is sulfate free and doesn't make my hair feel crunchy! – Lolita G, 22
