DazzleDiary Fashionista Unboxes her Winter Babe Box

All thoughts, comments and photos are original to the writer, Saba Joseph of DazzleDiary (by the way, we are honored to be in her first YouTube video!).

Let’s get started. I was sent the Winter Babe Box, and because they had a special going on I ended up with multiples of everything. Lucky me eh. Babe Box is a Canadian lifestyle subscription company which only ships within Canada. The boxes are available seasonally, or quarterly. The boxes generally include beauty products, food, fashion an entertainment. The best part about these boxes is that they are only $10 + shipping. I have not come across any subscription boxes that are this cheap. And have good useful stuff in it.

First up are the Boot/Sneaker Rescue wipes. There are two of each of these bad boys, and I gave the boot rescue to my hubby because he’s out and about a lot and he has really found them useful. I have yet to try the sneaker rescue, I do need to clean up my converse’s so I am pretty confident these will be just as good to me as the boot rescue was to J.

Blair Waldorf anyone? I was obsessed with headbands in that era. I still have all of them, and still purchase some here and there so when this came out of the box you can imagine my excitement. There is a gold one as well. I currently am using it in my bathroom to hold my hair back when I get ready, but that gold one will be making an appearance with an outfit real soon. It’s not too tight and I like that they have double the support, because if you have thick and heavy hair like mine nothing can tame that beast.

Like socks, I lose pins for a living. So this was definitely something I was happy to see. The Spin Pins I haven’t used yet, but I have found enough tutorials online, plus the instructions in the back are super easy. Very excited to try this out. Possibly this weekend since I have multiple events.

This Elixir Apothecary roll on is actually minty and lemony. I have been sniffing it a lot since I opened it the other day, usually after I cook and clean and sit down it kind of relaxes me. I haven’t found any other use for it, but you can enjoy the scent on your wrists really.

Favorite item of the box hands down. I mentioned my hair is really heavy and thick and when I shot the unboxing video I had used this spray and those curls stayed in place, and they were hard. I also like that it doesn’t smell like a hair product, but like coconuts. It’s gentle and does the job. A way high thumbs up for this one.

Lastly, there were gift cards for Stevia in there as well which is sweetener, and something my father in law lives off of so for sure an added bonus for us. Make sure you check them out, I have the link above. Have an awesome weekend love

About Saba:

My name is Saba & I work in Real Estate Development at a large Canadian franchise company; not exactly what you’d think I would be doing. But, if you love fashion & beauty, and have the added benefit of dabbling in South Asian trends as well, then this should feel right at home. I don’t act like I’m some sort of fashion or beauty guru, nor do I pretend to be up to date with all the fads. BUT, I do try a lot of different things and I’m not afraid to say what’s on my mind, so if you like somebody who’s a bit blunt, really sarcastic, somewhat crazy, knows her body type (it’s not skinny and I’m FINE with it), what she likes and what she hates then stick around.

I’ve been very lucky to work with a lot of companies, especially local Canadian brands, which makes my heart do a little shimmy. I’m a little girly with a hint of edge. I’m a little shy at first, but if you get to know me I can be really obnoxious too. Somewhat bipolar, but it works. I started my blog in December 2013, because I just needed an outlet for all things I love. It got my juices flowing, but I was not paying attention to it. I literally cropped pictures out from events and posted about it in the initial stages. I stopped for a year or so to get married, get life settled a bit and realized I actually love and breathe fashion. If I’m not working in the field, then I can build my own world the way I want. I turned 30, moved into my own place and experienced so many different things that I needed to express the lifestyle I now became a part of.
