There is something so satisfying about peeling off that a layer from your skin. Not your actual layer of skin, because that’s really gross, but a layer of a facial mask. This facial masks offers radiance boosting peel for normal to oily skin and it smells GREAT. It contains papaya which fights free radicals and exfoliates and vitamin C which reduces inflammation and strengthens the skin’s barrier. Did I mention that it smells great?
The mask itself is slightly clear and very easy to spread. Make sure that you follow the directions and apply the mask to clean, dry skin and apply a thin layer staring from the centre of your face and going outwards. Stay away from your baby hairs, eyebrows and eye area when applying this product. Once it's settling on your skin, you will feel an increasing tingling feeling over the next few minutes on your skin, especially where you have thinner skin or bigger pores. Do not be afraid of it. The tingling sensation is to help open your pores and brightening up your skin. It may be overly uncomfortable for those with sensitive skin but for me, it felt very refreshing with that minty tingle working its magic.
After spreading a thin layer over your skin, let it set for 10-15 minutes. Make sure that the mask has dried up everywhere before you start picking at it. Once it becomes dry and smooth, you can then take off the mask very slowly, starting from the bottom to the top and always pulling upwards.
What I especially like about this mask is that it feels very light and thin. Sometimes you put a peeling mask on and you feel like you can’t even blink without creating line wrinkles. It’s also relatively elastic so it didn’t feel like I was tugging at my skin and irritating it.
The best part about peeling masks if seeing all of the dead/dry skin that has come off. Ah, the satisfaction. The amount of dead/dry skin the mask has removed will depend on how transparent the mask it once you’ve peeled it off. Once you have completely removed the mask, you will notice a huge difference to your skin. Your skin is a lot smoother, softer and tighter. And it will only take you 10-15 minutes for these amazing results!
It is suggested that this mask is to be used 1-3 times a week to clearly see the brightening effect of the mask and to prevent clogged pores from appearing on the skin. This mask will also prevent dullness of skin and you will appear more youthful and radiant over time.
