Fall is almost here so let’s dive into the new seasonal colours and trends of voluminous lashes, earthy eyeshadows, deep and enriching lip hues and flushed cheeks from essence cosmetics.
If you haven’t tried essence cosmetics yet, I highly recommend you check them out. They have a great collection of quality products with affordable prices. You’ll never be in that horrible situation of “which shade is better for me right now?” because you’ll be able to purchase both shades without even blinking. Plus, essence cosmetics is now available online! Affordable, quality makeup at the click of a button? I think my online shopping addiction is about to come back full throttle.
The Porcelains
The new porcelain nail polish collection is available in four shades (pictured below are Pretty Little Thing, Blue Symphony and So In Love). You could also pick up essence’s French Manicure creative tip guides with adhesives. Because all of these shades are cohesive with each other which makes playing around with nail art so much easier.

Velvet Eyesahdow
These shades are gorgeous (and right up my alley) and the formula offers the range of sheer to complete coverage. The formula is so smooth (which is a no brainer because it’s called velvet for a season) and the shadows apply beautifully to the lid. I like the shades Fluffy Clouds and Almost Peachy for an easy daytime look. And when I’m feeling a little more adventurous, Mr.Mocca-bean is a great shade to blend into your eye crease for a more dramatic look. Pictured here are Mr.Mocca-bean, Almost Peachy!, Coral me Maybe and Fluffy Clouds.

BB Beauty Balm Lipgloss
You can get the intense colour that lipstick offers, the moisturizer that a lip balm offers plus the shine that lipgloss offers without the sticky mess. These babies are enriched with shea butter and vitamin E and they are smell really sweet. Pictured here are Heartbreaker, Keep it Real and Shh, Kiss Me.

2in1 Lipstick and Liner
I’m a huge believer in lip-liner. Lip liner is like the barrier that keeps the water in the ocean, which in this scenario is lipstick. More than that, if you use it right it could give you a larger, plumper lip look. Essence seems to be all about the two in one’s and I’m all about the simpler life – it could be hard to match lip liners to lipstick colours unless you buy them together. These new lipsticks are highlight pigmented and the tip can be used to accurately outline the lips and then you can fill your lips in by rotating the pencil to it’s side. The only downside is that this formula is extremely creamy, making it pretty soft, and I broke my tip when I used the lipstick (boo!).

Forbidden Volume Mascaras
I don’t mess around when it comes to my lashes and I’m usually pretty skeptical to try new mascara. But, I really like the cone shaped brush that Forbidden Volume Mascara and Forbidden Mascara Rebel (for those who want a more dramatic lash look) has to offer. But what really tickled my interest is the Forbidden Volume Mascara False Lash Topcoat. Sometimes you feel like you need to freshen up your mascara but you know that applying another coat of mascara will just make it clump and make your lashes stick together. Well now you can use this topcoat. This mascara is designed to refresh your lashes. Simply swipe it over any mascara and your lashes will look like you just applied fresh mascara. It’s honestly amazing!

The new collection also features a lot of eye makeup products such as the 2in1 Eyeshadow and Liner. This waterproof chubby eyeshadow stick combines the benefits of eyeshadow and eyeliner with its conic tip that doesn’t need sharpening. The creamy texture can be easily blended and is extremely long lasting. I <3 Colour Intensifying Eyeshadow Base (which I was pretty bummed I couldn’t find), Effect Eye Pencils that leave behind a metal finish and The Smokey Eye Pencil that helps the smokey eye process a little easier with an integrated sponge applicator that makes the waterproof, soft texture easy to blend for a look that will last.
Essence has also updated their lip collection with 9 shades of Longlasting Lipliner and 3 Prettifying Lip Oils that contains Jojoba Oil which ensures moisturized and smooth lips withoutstickiness.
Lots of new goodies to look forward too as the weather gets cooler. Are you excited to try any of these new products? Let us know your thoughts on the new Essence Fall/Winter 2016 Collection.
