The Cutest Collab Coming This Fall: The Face Shop x Kakao Talk

Kakao Talk is coming to Canada in the cutest, freshest way possible. In partnership with Korea’s number one instant messaging service (with 38 million active users per month – that’s more people than there are living in all of Canada!), The Face Shop is bringing pop art and pigmented eyeshadow palettes, moisturizing hand creams and best-selling face masks together in a capsule collection launching in October 2016. Featuring Kakao Talk’s cast of fun characters – from dramatic cat and dog couple Frodo and Neo to the flirty and frisky Apeach, The Face Shop x Kakao Talk collection is bringing some serious sass to skincare.
Which Kakao will you choose?
Muzi (무지) is a spunky yellow radish brought to life by his scientist sidekick and creator, Con (콘). Muzi loves wearing bunny suits to boost his confidence, and he is frequently found seeking out new adventures.
Apeach (어피치) is a sexy peach brought to by the ambitious scientist Con, and spends its life dancing around and acting out mischievous pranks.
Frodo (프로도) is one of the more complex Kakao Friends. He’s a spoiled dog from the big city who can get a little bossy. He loves the finer things in life – if it glitters, Frodo will love it!
Neo (네오) is a sleek and suave urban cat with a haircut that deserves to be on the cover of a fashion magazine – and she knows it! Neo is a beauty who doesn’t need to be told twice about how lovely she is.
Tube (튜브) is the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of the Kakao Talk Friends. On the surface, he is a meek, friendly duck who doesn’t like standing up to others to get his point across.
Unfortunately we'll have to wait a little while longer until the collection hits Canada because the Face Shop's capsule collaboration with Kakao Talk will be available for a limited time in October 2016, in-stores and online at thefaceshop.ca.
