On June 10, 2016, Christina Grimmie, the insanely talented 22-year-old singer who took third place in season 6 of The Voice, was shot dead by a gunman in Orlando after a show.
The New Jersey native — who had more than 2 million YouTube subscribers before ever appearing on The Voice at age 19 — knocked the judges out with her audition for the show. She sang Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" and before the song was done, all four judges turned around. Watching her audition now, it's no surprise that she was given a standing ovation by the notoriously difficult judges.
Let's take a second to remember her epic audition and everything she's accomplished in her lifetime. RIP Christina Grimmie.
