I’m sure the memory is still vivid in our mind when Instagram last announced that they were going to reorder the Instagram feed to show pictures that you supposedly care the most about. Everyone starting freaking out and posting those annoying “turn on my notifications!” images.
Everyone was against it (do you remember Kylie Jenner's epic rant on Instagram)but Instagram made is official that the change is coming, and soon.
Instagram insists statistics prove this a good change, writing in the post,” Over the past few months, we brought this new way of ordering posts to a portion of the community, and we found that people are liking photos more, commenting more and generally engaging with the community in a more active way."
The most important thing to remember once this change is in effect is that if you regularly comment and life your friends (and other important profiles) pictures, they will continue to show up on your feed. Let’s remember that Facebook made this change MANY years ago and I don’t really feel out of the loop of the “right now moments” so this change might actually be a good thing? Let’s cross our fingers.
