DID YOU KNOW? If every male in the city of Toronto, about 1 million people, throws one razor cartridge in the trash every month, it would generate about 22 tons of waste per year! All of Toronto’s waste is transported to a landfill in London, Ontario, and at this rate, the landfill will be completely full by 2029!
That’s a terrifying fact. So to help save the environment, and to celebrate their one-year anniversary of their newest location in the Parkdale neighborhood in Toronto, Mankind Grooming is pledging to save the environment through the use of double edged safety razors instead of plastic disposable razors.
Now babes, I know that you may not be taking advantage of their shaves anytime soon but Father’s Day is just around the corner and he would definitely enjoy this treat! Weather your dad (or husband) prefers to be clean shaven or hip with a little fuzz, the barbers at Mankind Grooming will make him feel like royalty. Getting a shave like this isn’t super common in most barbers today so we recently treated one of our (super-hot) male friends to a shave at Mankind and he loved the experience.
To top it all off, in accordance with their #DitchTheDisposable pledge to save the environment, Mankind will be donating the proceeds from every shave at all of its three locations during the month of June, to the Toronto Environmental Alliance!
