As much as we make fun of those axe commercials, there is some truth to them: we are naturally drawn to good scents. Just image that you’re enjoying some gelato and a super-hot guy comes to talk to you. He’s everything you want in your dream man but he smells like last week’s taco fiesta. The attraction is quickly fading, right? But if he smelt a little bit more axe, oh yes, that’s better.

You don’t have to have just one scent personality – I’m personally pretty torn between fruity and floral scents for different occasions. If I’m at the office, going on a shopping spree or spending time with my boyfriend I usually opt for a fruity scent. But if I’m going out at night to a club, watching the game at a bar or on a super-sophisticated date then I’m reaching for a floral scent.
